A Guide to Using HDFC NetBanking Services

HDFC netbanking is your ability to use your account online to pay for things, transfer funds and check your statement. If you are an Indian moving to Dubai, you can open an account before travelling by contacting your nearest HDFC Bank branch. How to Create an HDFC Bank Netbanking Account

When you register an HDFC bank account, you will be asked whether you need HDFC netbanking services. You usually answer this by ticking the information on a form. If you answer yes, you will receive a netbanking kit with a user ID and a one-time IPIN.

Once you have this, go to the official website hdfcbank.com to log in and choose netbanking. Then click on “continue,” which takes you to the page you are supposed to enter your user ID and PIN. Provide this information to activate your account and reset the password. Don’t forget your password. You will need it for future use. Write it down somewhere safe.

How to Send Money with HDFC Bank Online Banking

HDFC Bank netbanking services allow users to transfer funds to other accounts of the same bank or different financial institutions using NEFT/IMPS/RTGS. But you’ll have to log into your netbanking account to do this. Once logged in, select the fund transfer type you want and the beneficiary from the list of beneficiaries added to your netbanking. Then, choose the amount you wish to transfer, the transfer type, and the beneficiary’s mobile number or email agree. Then, agree to the terms and conditions and click “Continue.” You’ll need to type your OTP to authenticate this transaction, and the funds will be transferred.

There are many services HDFC netbanking offers its customers. However, they can be narrowed to convenience and savings. Having an HDFC netbanking account means you can download your statement instantly in a PDF form for the first five years. You can also access a fixed or recurring deposit online and quickly transfer funds through IMPS, RTGS, and NEFT.
Additionally, you can check your loan status through your HDFC netbanking portal and manage and monitor several banking transactions. For instance, you can request a checkbook, pay a credit card or debit card bill, demand a draft, etc.

How to Pay Your Credit Card Bill with HDFC Netbanking

You can use your HDFC account to pay credit card bills once you register for netbanking. To do this, log in to your netbanking account, and link your credit card and netbanking account with your card details and PIN. Go to the “Credit Card” and “Funds Transfer” sections to pay your credit card bill.
